What an empty home in Cape Harbour needs
Big homes, shared buildings and boats in the water. Home watch in Cape Harbour has to cover all three, and the gate in front of them.
The gate and the association
Cape Harbour is gated with a security guard, so every visit starts at the gate. We set up access once and keep it current, and we can be the local contact your association has on file.
A boat at the marina or behind the house
Whether your boat sits in a deep-water slip at Cape Harbour Marina or at your own dock, we check lines, fenders, the bilge, shore power, lift cables and the battery, and photograph it for the same report as your home.
Boat watch →Large homes, many systems
Homes in Harbour Preserve run from about 2,500 to 13,000 square feet: several AC zones, a generator, a pool and spa, often an elevator. More systems means more ways to fail, so we check each one on every visit.
Estate watch →Harbour condos
In Marina South, Marina View and the Coach Homes, a failed AC drain or water heater does not stay in your unit. We check drains, supply lines, the water heater and the AC closet every visit.
Condo watch →On the river, near the Gulf
Cape Harbour faces open water near the mouth of the Caloosahatchee. We agree on a storm plan for your home and boat before the season, carry it out when a storm is named, and check both as soon as it is safe.
Storm services →Alarms and the 2 a.m. call
The City of Cape Coral requires alarm systems to be registered, and someone local has to answer when yours goes off. We can be that keyholder, 24/7.
Keyholder service →You won't see your Cape Harbour home for months. Our reports are how you will.
Most home watch reports come back as a row of checkmarks. Ours carry the evidence: readings, thermal images and photos, time-stamped after every visit.
- Infrared moisture checksThermal images find wet drywall and a struggling AC coil before a stain appears.
- Humidity, measured every visitA hygrometer reading on every report, so you know the house stayed between 45 and 55 percent.
- Drone roof photos after stormsAerial photos you can hand straight to your insurer.
- No sign you're goneUnmarked vehicles and no door magnets.

Cape Harbour home watch FAQ
Can you get through the gate at Cape Harbour?
Yes. Before the first visit we set up access with the gate the way the community requires, and we keep it current. If your association asks owners to name a local contact while they are away, you can list us.
How much does home watch cost in Cape Harbour?
Our plans are $65 a month for one visit, $109 for two visits and $179 for four visits, with a written report after every visit. Larger homes may need estate watch, and boat watch, keyholder, storm and concierge services can be added. There is no long-term contract.
Do you check boats at Cape Harbour Marina?
Yes. Boat watch covers your boat at its slip or at your own dock: lines, fenders, the bilge, shore power, the battery and the canvas, with photos in the same report as your home. We do not take the boat out.
Do you watch large estate homes in Harbour Preserve?
Yes. Estate watch scales the visit to the property: every AC zone, the generator, pool and spa equipment, the elevator, guest quarters and smart home systems, with a written report that covers all of it.
Do you watch condos in Marina South and Marina View?
Yes. Condo watch covers the things that cause trouble between units: AC drains, the water heater, supply lines, the washer and the balcony. We follow your building's rules for access and water shut-off.
Can you be the keyholder on my Cape Coral alarm registration?
Yes. Cape Harbour is inside the City of Cape Coral, which requires alarm systems to be registered with its police department. You can list Trident Home Watch as a keyholder there and on your monitoring company's call list.
