Home watch FAQ
What does a home watch visit include?
We check the outside and inside of your home on a set schedule: doors, windows and screens, the roof from the ground, the AC and indoor humidity, plumbing and water heater, appliances, the pool and lanai, and signs of leaks, pests or a break-in. You get a written report with photos after every visit, and we can customize the checklist for your home.
How often should my home be checked?
It depends on how long the house sits empty and what is in it. Our plans range from one visit a month to four. We will recommend a schedule when we talk.
How much does home watch cost?
Plans are $65 a month for one visit, $109 for two visits and $179 for four visits. Boat watch, keyholder, storm and concierge services can be added.
Are you licensed, bonded and insured?
Yes. Trident Home Watch is licensed in Cape Coral (002934-2023) and Lee County (1084799), carries $1,000,000/$2,000,000 general liability insurance and a $20,000 bond, and everyone who enters your home has passed a fingerprint background check.
Is home watch the same as a home inspection?
No. Our team is led by an InterNACHI Certified Professional Inspector and uses inspection tools like infrared cameras, but home watch is ongoing monitoring of an empty home. We do not perform home inspections.
Do I have to sign a long-term contract?
No. There is no long-term contract.
