What an empty home in Tarpon Point needs
Most owners here live above the water or right beside it. These are the things we watch for while you are away.
High-rise living
In Tarpon Landings, Tarpon Gardens and the Marina Village residences, a leak does not stay put. It travels to the floors below. We check the AC closet, drains, the water heater, supply lines and the balcony every visit.
Condo watch →Balconies in hurricane season
High up on the water, anything left on a balcony becomes a projectile. Before a storm we clear balconies, close storm protection if you have it, and check your unit and the building as soon as it is safe.
Storm services →Slips at Tarpon Point Marina
With direct Gulf access, boats here get used hard and then sit for months. We check lines, fenders, the bilge, shore power and the battery at your slip, and photograph the boat for your report.
Boat watch →Tarpon Estates
Custom estate homes with private docks come with more systems to watch: several AC zones, pools, generators and lifts. We check each one on every visit.
Estate watch →Gate and building access
Between the gate, the front desk, key fobs and elevator access, every building handles visitors its own way. We set it all up before the first visit and keep it current.
Summer heat and humidity
A closed-up condo in August can grow mildew in days if the AC quits. We record the indoor humidity every visit and check the AC, the drain line and the air handler.
You won't see your Tarpon Point home for months. Our reports are how you will.
Most home watch reports come back as a row of checkmarks. Ours carry the evidence: readings, thermal images and photos, time-stamped after every visit.
- Infrared moisture checksThermal images find wet drywall and a struggling AC coil before a stain appears.
- Humidity, measured every visitA hygrometer reading on every report, so you know the house stayed between 45 and 55 percent.
- Drone roof photos after stormsAerial photos you can hand straight to your insurer.
- No sign you're goneUnmarked vehicles and no door magnets.

Tarpon Point home watch FAQ
Can you get into my building at Tarpon Point?
Yes. Before the first visit we set up access with the gate, the front desk and your building's key fob or elevator system, whatever your building requires, and we keep it current.
How much does home watch cost in Tarpon Point?
Our plans are $65 a month for one visit, $109 for two visits and $179 for four visits, with a written report after every visit. Estate homes may need estate watch, and boat watch, keyholder, storm and concierge services can be added. There is no long-term contract.
Do you watch high-rise condos?
Yes. Condo watch covers the things that cause trouble between floors: AC drains, the water heater, supply lines, the washer and the balcony. We follow your association's rules for access, contractors and water shut-off.
Do you check boats at Tarpon Point Marina?
Yes. Boat watch covers your boat at its slip: lines, fenders, the bilge, shore power, the battery and the canvas, with photos in the same report as your condo or home. We do not take the boat out.
What do you do with my balcony before a hurricane?
As part of your storm plan, we bring in balcony furniture and loose items, close storm shutters or panels if your unit has them, and photograph everything. After the storm we check the unit as soon as the building allows access.
Can you be the keyholder on my Cape Coral alarm registration?
Yes. Tarpon Point is inside the City of Cape Coral, which requires alarm systems to be registered with its police department. You can list Trident Home Watch as a keyholder there and on your monitoring company's call list.
